And why don’t nutritionists agree on what is healthy?
I know, I know…we aren’t even sure how bad having high cholesterol is. Mine has been at 260 for at least 15 years and I have never had any problems with blood pressure, heart disease or anything…
It’s not sad that you think so. It’s sad that it appears to be the truth. If you ask me, a lot of people are fucked when society finally caves in on itself. Everyone has been so advertised to and (for lack of a less buzzy and obstinate word) brainwashed that we’ve forgotten how to think and, more importantly, how to listen. “Buy this and you’ll be healthy,” “Buy this and you’ll be pretty,” “Buy this and you’ll live forever.” It’s everywhere you look and might as well be a microchip implanted into our heads. The only way folks are going to relearn the most basic and essential functions of our bodies (and our souls and minds) is if we take the initiative to REALLY try to listen to what our own bodies are telling us and to thoroughly consider what is ACTUALLY healthy for us.
